* 300 grams Chicken breasts – cut into chunks
* 1 Onion – sliced
* 1 Onion – diced
* 1 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) – diced
* 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
* 2 Dry Red Chilli
* 1 inch Ginger – chopped
* 4 cloves Garlic – chopped
* 1 cup Homemade tomato puree
* 2 teaspoons Red Chilli powder
* 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
* 2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
* 1 tablespoon Fresh cream
* Salt – to taste
* 2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves – chopped
* Sunflower Oil
### Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Kadai Chicken Recipe – Chicken Cooked With Onion And Capsicum:
1. heat a heavy bottomed pan/wok with oil.
2. Once it becomes hot, add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.
3. Add dry red chillies and saute till it crisp up.
4. Add ginger, garlic and allow it soften.
5. Add sliced and diced onions and saute till they soften and caramelize.
6. Add bell peppers and cook till they become a little soft.
7. Once that is done, add cup of tomato puree and keep cooking till the tomatoes are well cooked.
8. This will take about 4 to 5 minutes.
9. After 4 to 5 minutes, add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook for another 3 minutes.
10. Add chicken pieces and saute well till the masala is coated evenly over the chicken.
11. The chicken will take about 15 to 20 minutes to cook.
12. At the end, add a tablespoon of cream and mix well.
13. Serve hot by garnishing it with coriander leaves.
