* Tamarind – a little
* 200 grams spinach
* sugar – a pinch
* 4 green chillies
* salt – as per use
* 1 teaspoon oil
* 1/2 teaspoon mustard
* 1/2 teaspoon gram lentils
* 2 sprig curry leaves
* 2 dry red chilli
### Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Puli Keerai (Recipe In Hindi):
1. To make puli kirai, firstly fry the spinach and wash it well.
2. Now add spinach, green chilies, salt, sugar and mix in a pressure cooker.
3. Add tamarind and some water to it.
4. Cook till 1 city comes.
5. Allow the pressure to drain and keep the spinach separately.
6. Put the spinach mixture in a blender and grind it.
7. Take out in a bowl.
8. Now heat oil in a pan.
9. Add mustard seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds.
10. After that add chana dal and cook till it turns light brown.
11. Add this tempering to the spinach mixture and mix.
12. Serve Puli Kirai with Beetroot Thoran and Rice for dinner.
