* 3 Beetroot
* 2 tablespoon Sunflower Oil
* 1 tablespoon Chana dal (Bengal Gram Dal)
* 1 tablespoon White Urad Dal (Split)
* 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
* Salt – to taste
* 1 sprig Curry leaves
* 1 Dry Red Chilli

1. Firstly wash, peel and chop the beetroot into small cubes.
2. Steam the beetroot in a steamer until it becomes soft or place a sauce pan with water on medium heat and add chopped beetroot.
