* 1/2 cup Raw Peanuts (Moongphali)
* 1 inch Ginger – grated
* 2 Green Chillies – slit
* 1 Onion – finely chopped
* 1 Tomato – finely chopped
* 1 Bay leaf (tej patta) – torn
* 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
* 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
* Salt – to taste
* 1 teaspoon Ghee
* 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
* 1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini) – broken
* Coriander (Dhania) Leaves – a small bunch chopped
* 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

1. first prep all the ingredients and keep them ready.
2. Heat oil in the pressure cooker, add the ginger, onion and saute until the onions soften.
3. Add the tomato, chilli, bay leaf, masoor dal, peanuts, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste.

8. Open the cooker, and transfer to a serving bowl.
9. Stir in the chopped coriander leaves and the lemon juice.
