* 2 cups Red matta rice – soaked in water for 30 minutes
* 1 cup Green peas (Matar)
* 2 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
* 1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
* 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
* 2 teaspoons Cumin seeds (Jeera)
* Salt – to taste
* 1 teaspoon Sugar
* Ghee – for cooking
