🌿 Aloe ‘Pepe’
Aloe ‘Pepe’ is a miniature aloe hybrid known for its compact size, dense rosettes, and charming, sculptural form. With its short, fleshy, dark green to reddish leaves and small stature (typically under 10 cm / 4 inches), it’s a perfect plant for tiny pots, terrariums, desks, or windowsills. Despite its small size, it packs a lot of personality and is especially attractive in clusters or succulent arrangements.

🔆 Light Requirements

Ideal Light: Bright, direct sunlight or strong indirect light.
Tolerates: Partial sun, but leaf color and form may fade or stretch in low light.
Avoid: Deep shade or overly dim rooms, as it will etiolate (stretch) and lose its rosette shape.

💧 Watering Guidelines

When to Water: Let soil dry out completely between waterings.
Frequency: Every 2–3 weeks during growing season; once a month or less in cooler months.
Important: Water sparingly. Overwatering is the most common cause of decline. Always ensure water drains out of the pot.

🌾 Soil & Potting

Soil: Use a gritty, well-draining cactus/succulent mix.
Pot: Small terracotta or ceramic pot with a drainage hole. This tiny aloe prefers slightly tight quarters.

🌱 Fertilization

Feed: Once every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with diluted cactus fertilizer.
Avoid: Fertilizing in winter or using rich general-purpose fertilizers.

✂️ Pruning & Maintenance

Prune: Rarely needed, but remove any shriveled or dry lower leaves as they appear.
Repotting: Only when absolutely necessary. Its slow growth means repotting is rarely needed.
Propagation: Can be propagated via offsets (pups), if present.

🪴 Humidity & Temperature

Humidity: Prefers dry air — avoid humid environments.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–27°C (65–80°F). Keep above 10°C (50°F); frost-sensitive.
