* 200 grams Elephant yam (Suran/Senai/Ratalu) – peeled and chopped
* 1 cup Tamarind Water
* 1 teaspoon Sambar Powder
* 1 tablespoon Jaggery
* 1 teaspoon Sesame (Gingelly) Oil
* Salt – to taste
* Sunflower Oil – for cooking
