* 1-1/2 cups Vivatta Maida
* 2 Whole Eggs
* 1/2 cup Butter (unsalted)
* 150 grams Khoya (Mawa)
* 1/2 cup Milk
* 1 cup Caster Sugar
* 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
* 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
* 1 pinch Saffron strands

1. sift the flour and baking powder and keep aside.
2. Bring the mava to room temperature if kept in fridge.
3. Grease a 7 inch cake tin and line it with parchment.

6. Then add in eggs and beat well.
7. Add in essence and mix.
